Our Story
For most of their lives, co-founders James Lough and Jennefer Morris-Lough have imagined a place where artists could enjoy the time and space to do what they feel destined to do: create. Like artists Hilma af Klimt, David Lynch, Vasily Kandinsky, Juliana Huxtable and countless others who joined cultivation and creativity, we feel the two are one in the same.
Our Space
In Spring 2021, when we found a gorgeous space to merge art and personal cultivation, we were ecstatic. The building, located in Savannah’s splendid Historic District, was once Kate Baldwin Free Kindergarten. Built in 1899, the Free Kindergarten’s purpose was to be “a benevolent and charitable institution for the free training, instruction, and education of young children under the kindergarten system of education.” It encouraged children of all backgrounds to attend.
